[ROM][UHLPS] Pure ICS v7.6 & New AOSP Package [16-Jun-2012]

- no. They are all updated. Ex : email is 4.1. Some other ex : android keyboard, FM radio etc. Besides you get to install Chrome browser.

- apex. One of the best ICS experience.

Think I'm gonna update to 7.2 today.

Just a question, how does one take screen shots???? Maybe I am just being a complete n00b but for the life of me I can't figure out.

7.2 breaks my Bluetooth pairing with my car. Have to pair it every time I get in like CM9 and resurrection does. Back to 7.0 I go.

pity. I think 7.2 is better with battery life.

i have tried speedmod siyah and abyss + setcpu
i think siyah is more pro
siyahs battery drain on 100 mhz is much fewer than abyss 25 mhz this means more speed with less battery
and more faster than speedmod
i red neaks features and didnt decide to try it
siyah is my choice.
and never forget just flashing is not enough to judge about kernel. custom kernel needs setup and you could find proper app to set it and my choice is setcpu it is the app every phone needs.

I use Siyah and it works well.

Siyah b7 is the best. Had random freezes with neak, the same undervolting stable with siyah.

B7 is the most stable n bug free.

I think it doesn't matter at if CPU runs at 25mhz or 100 MHz or 200. It depends on how much voltage its taking to run at that speed.

For ex : with siyah, my phone was stable at 900mv at 100mhz. 200mhz also needs 900mv to stay stable.
So I disabled 100mhz. Since both speeds takes same voltage and hence consume same battery power.

However it may not be the same with everyone

Pls post ur voltage settings..

yes your true .. every kernel running on default voltage values ... all i said were about default value the kernel offers and 25 mhz of abyss was running on lower voltage i dont remeber howmuch but im sure was lower but still siyah battery drain was much lower with more voltage . the battery dosnt depend just on the cpu many more stuff are in game to drain your battrey that i think siyah controls well.

100(900) 200(925) 500(950) 800(1050) 1000(1150) 1200(1250)
i dont risk so much ... performance+battery life .. no overclock at all

edit : siyah v3 (final) + smartass for governer + 4 profiles (screen off. temp .low battery . charging)
edit 2: with screen off profile phone worked 12 h with 4% (only gsm) ... yes i slept 12 hours

Will flashing the kernel from 7.0 with Pure 7.2 get me back to a functional Bluetooth setup like i have with 7.0? If so, is the a link for that kernel and if I do do that, will it negate the possibly better battery life apparently in 7.2?

you cant use the kernel used for 7.0 on 7.2 but there are custom kernels like siyah neak abyss and speedmod that testing them are wellcome.

This rom works great... Awesome battery life... i just have one issue.. In contacts, if the long press, i dont any menu. I am unable to join multiple contacts, which was working fine in 7.1.

Phone and MMS not working

Hello all

i installed 7.2 ROM from mediafire download

i flashed it after doing the format, wipe cache and dalvik cache

and after that i followed instructions by decodex

from there i installed the AOSP_MMS_and_Contacts_PureICS7.2 and AOSP_MMS_and_Contacts_PureICS7.2_3 both after again wiping cache and dalvik

after that i installed 15 toggles, calendar everytime wiping cache and dalvik cache

i started my phone then its getting hang at every 5-10 seconds and giving me error that 'Unfortunately the phone has stopped'., 'Unfortunately the com.android.phone has stopped' , 'Unfortunately the MMS has stopped'.,

i dont know my phone is working too bad now the ROM looks too cool , plz help me how to install the mms and phone apks all package after installing the rom from mediafire and that installing it

plz tell step wise

are u running with asop contacts or stock samsung ? with asop contacs anything is a bit different from stock

sorry .. after flashing the rom let the rom boots up then back to recovery and install the aosp contacs mms as learned and let the rom boots up again then back to recovery and and this time calendar as said again let the boot up ... please step by step

flash circle batery after toggles and no need to do wipe for this two . but for asop stuff needs

Yeah done with all this and working fine .. but plz tell m how to move that ringtone folder in system folder ? With what tool or file manager ??
