As the title states I just installed CM 11 on my Desire S using the links from this post:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2467013

After getting many errors and trying a whole lot of different stuff and recoveries, I managed to do it with TWRP 2,7 for Desire S and I installed the ROM.

The problem is that now my phone stacks on the "HTC" screen when I press the power button and there is nothing I can do about it. Before the installation I did a full wipe except from the SD and I had MIUI ROM 2.4.13

Seeing as you're s-on, did you flash the boot.img in fastboot?

If it still won't work (after flashing the boot.img from the rom), check the "non-sony panel" thread in the general section.

I did install the boot.img but it still stopped at the HTC screen. Anyway I managed to install the PACman from the forums. It's super smooth and everything is fine so I will drop trying CM for now. Thanks for your replies everyone.
