There is a 4.99 app in the Play Store specifically made for this kernel. There is also the audio extension which I think is 1.99 - I don't have the money for them right now but a search for faux123 will bring them up.

Now for my kernel review - there simply isn't a better kernel. I am using the overclocked version of the kernel and not only is it crazy stable, it's crazy fast too. And I mean FAST - download 3dmark... With this kernel, manually set on performance at 1.8ghz, I scored over 6k - no other kernel has come close. On top of that, the thermal output is nothing compared to other kernels (especially KT - playing the Simpsons Tapped Out which is mostly 2D would make my phone hot)

I've used faux kernels before... But not to this benefit. I have to say I would buy the apps if I wasn't so broke. Amazing work - oh and I'm using the 4.1.2 MOAR Sprint port - I haven't tried the Cm kernel but this kernel makes the phone what it should have been to begin with, I can only imagine what the Cm kernel would add.

All things considered, I have to give it to faux. I don't have any freezing, it's a very polished kernel. I've tried many and faux just gets it right.

You can actually FEEL the power of the kernel. My only wish would be for a 2ghz kernel - my phone is one of the few that can handle it. With that said, this kernel performs better, at a lower temperature, than KT which allows a 2ghz overclocked.

I will say that so far, using SetCPU to bump the max clock to 1.8ghz, with the ondemand governor, thebattery life is lower than KT but that's a small price to pay for the speed and stability.

Also note that I haven't done a cycle on the battery yet... It's quite possible that the battery is actually better clock for clock

Hey Faux,
Just curious if there is a trick to changing the voltage settings using faux clock and the new 19m kernel...

Pin it to Win it.

Clear data from the app then try it. Works for me.

Is there any potential of merging in the MD5 tmobile update?

Between LJ7 and MD4 (Sprint) there are a multitude of updates; see: https://github.com/ktoonsez/KT747-JB...5a9ef9979972d7

Thanks!
