Anyone have any luck with GPS? Just wondering because it's "supposed to work". That's the only thing stopping me from using this ROM daily.

I've never onced had issues with GPS :3 I've found that the GPS Toggle, and GPS On via settings are mismatched some times (GPS Toggle on, but GPS is off).

Wanring! Do not use the app "Super SU". It's the newest SU by chainfire, and it kill's root. Causes system speed to just drop.

while taking photo? how?? lucky!

Yes, while taking a photo. I installed it on a slot on boot manager, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I didn't change anything so I don't know. I just tested and the flash went off when I had it on.

Edit: So I even wiped everything and flashed the rom as well as gapps through Clockworkmod recovery and the flash still works for me when taking a picture.

I can confirm that rootdim from the playstore works to change the brightness manually and automatically

So, I have been running this for 24 hours and its great

I love it I am using root dim to counter the brightness problem, using some build.prop tweaks, and tweaked the Cpu, and using chainfire 3d to cut out the screen flickers. It is fast and responsive and I have even found some mods that work with this and wanted to share them:

First is a beautiful theme I found it , it is not mine thank the dev

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1501786

The second is a ui enhancement for any cm9 Rom same thing I don't own it just found it but def thank the dev

Know also you chant use them together you have to use one or the other

Yeah! I just got the MyTouch 4G slide today and am extremely excited to get this beast rooted and flash this. My first rom on this ever will be this one. I had the Samsung Galaxy S 4G before this and waited 8 months to get icecream sandwich and still haven't got it and now I finally get it on this baby! You guys are amazing!

    What doesnt work:
    - bluetooth
    - mms (its only not working in this port due to dhcpcd replacement I did for wifi to work)
    - camcorder
    - gps (it's supposed to work, but doesn't in this port yet)
    - brightness (you cant change it, no way, and autobrightness doesnt do anything either, its stuck around default value around 60% i guess)
    you tell

    What is cumbersome:

    - WIFI - i had to revert to a 4.0.1 netd/wpa supplicant to let the wifi work with this build (i couldnt figure out another way),
but that made mms borked, and you have to be patient to set up your wifi. Maybe even reboot, then switch wifi on, and wait, wait, wait till the networks get
recognized. Then long tap, Connect. It worked here, but took some time and patience. You can try manually Add Network as well, and then wait till wifi gets itself together.

    - Flickering gfx sometimes. "Chainfire 3D" - makes it much less apparent, almost eliminates it, worth a try, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.cf3d

    - USB storage: run from terminal dualmountsd_on / dualmountsd_off, or use Dualmount SD app from market.

    Luckily camera works.
Two way call rec patch included in kernel coming with this rom

    INSTALLATION:

Install after full wipe from recovery. You need s-off. Otherwise you'll need to install the boot.img from fastboot. (Check sticky in this forum about S-ON ICS installation)

Optional extra (install it before first boot, or later):

DON'T flash the pyroice kernels over this, wifi won't work.

I'm not planning on resolving bugs. I might update this if the sensation stuff is bumped, that's all.

tbalden, have you gotten in touch with the CM team?
    http://www.cyanogenmod.com/blog/developer-relations
They are actually trying to pull in unofficial ports and add more devices to the CM team
Your dev work has been on a roll so far, and maybe they can give you an added boost and help out as well.
