[Q] Soft brick, preserve internal memory?

So I was running NC4 (hyperdrive rls8) on my retail note 3 and went back to my nandroid of NC2 to see how I had configured something. All was well. I went back into safestrap and began to restore back to my nandroid of NC4 into the stock slot. The battery was not low but for some reason during the restore the phone decided to shut off. Now when I turn on my phone, all I get is the Note 3 boot screen and custom lock forever. I can get into download and Knox is not tripped (not that it matters). What should I ODIN back to?
I know how to do it but my concern is that I want to save my internal memory (/data/media) from being wiped. Is their any way to pull it from download mode? Or is there a tar file that will leave it alone?
