never flashed a kernal before without flashing an entire rom with it, so hope this isn't a dumb question. How will this affect my app data (assuming everything goes right)? Will I have to reinstall everything?

since this is a custom kernel, does this suffer from the bug affecting other non-OEM kernels (wake up lag)?

Hmmm, I flashed the pit/pda, flashed the signed zip, and I don't see it in my app drawer. Is it supposed to be somewhere else?

I have done the SuperRooter mod, will this effect that? Can I do this right on top of that?

I did it over superrooter and no problems so far.

Thanks OP. I love that the captivate is now 100% hacked (unlock/root/wifi tether/win/win/win)
