I am on official cm11 latest nightly build. When i charge my phone the phone is getting overheated unnecessarily. I don't have any ongoing processes at that moment, nor do i have my wifi/cellular network on. This problem started when i installed cm11(official build). At first i ignored it, but now the phone becomes very hot. You can actually burn your hand. And one more thing, i restored my phone on cm10.2 nightly(fortunately i had a nandroid) and on cm10.2 it charges normally without overheating. Please help, i want to run kitkat.

The Rom you flashed is buggy!
Just wait for next release or download something different like:AOKP, PACMAN, OMNI.... based on kitkat.

Unscrew the 7 screws at your phone, take it apart (screenside, backside and cover)
Then clean it with a soft brush.
It will make your phone run a bit cooler.
