why, yes it does help with the wifi thing, it also introduces a battery issue : drain.

Apparently it's not so bad for battery, wifi uses less than 3G, I hear.

you're right, 3G > wifi , but my usage scenario most of the time is : Wifi when i'm actively using the phone, 2G when it's in my pocket being a "dumb" phone.
In this case leaving on the wifi introduces a pretty decent drain.

It's a shame the wifi doesn't wake as/when I wake the phone

It used to work in pre-39 though!

No Problem here with WiFi reconnect after deep sleep(of the device

It also have saved my connections (have 10Wi-Fi area's )

I've got the same problem with wifi in the last few builds (earlier ones were fine). I've tried a fresh install after wiping etc and still have the problem.

Hmm, strange.

I made every time a fullwipe (with format system and every partition separate, I do this min. 2times, cause in my opinion cwm is a little buggy-don't slap me, its only my experience.

Try it too, hope it helps.
Often, I don't get the bunch
of annonced Bugs.

still have problems with music

i still have problem,s with the music app.

before i had double the songs in my music app. on sd card there is only one of each track but the music app was showing 2 of every track. i followed advise from this thread and cleared the data of the app but no i have 3 of every track..

the top 2 will fc the music player and the third will play..

Screenshot shows 3 tracks

the best detail i can give is that all my music is stored on my internal sd card (doesn't matter what setting i have in storage int/ext still the same)

i have also checked and this is happening with any pictures and videos i have saved in the internal sd card.. same thing 2 say no thumbnail and on works

hope this info is helping with development and not giving you headache as i am not complaining at all just giving feed back so that we all can have a rom that is as sweet as it looks like its gonna be very soon

I'd rather call having a good soul my (and many others) case, as I never wipe before upgrading. And have no problem.

OK try this: create file .nomedia in folder with music. The dot on beginning is necessary. Then start music player. It should FC on start. Then go to app settings of MP and close it, disable it, delete app data and enable it again. Try to start MP again, If it starts, you can remove .nomedia file. L.

Same here - went back to CM7 temasek's RC1-91. This CM9 ROM's are unusable for me...drains my 500 GB flat

I don't have any really major problems
Think 42 is hanging for me a little more then 41
I'll try a full wipe when I'm near Wi-Fi

42 is also causing me to loose data connection more just after a few minutes sleep or I'm just noticing it more because it'd the weekend.
I think I might have to try another bb
Battery life is OK could be better but again think it'd my BB

Tape-a-talk

I don't know if this problem is Rom related, but maybe other people have the same issue?

When I try to send an audio-file to a contact with the attachment button in Whatsapp, I cannot select Tape-a-talk. It works fine though when I send the file via the Tape-a-talk app, instead of Whatsapp

I did this ans now I am down to 2 tracks showing in the music app.
Think ill try wiping and flashing from fresh

Try search for mp3 files.i had a situation that all my mp3 copied themselves into FOUND dir. Deleting them solved it... i Dont know why that happened, but it did:-/

But use search by filesize the files lost the mp3 suffix.

The ROM comes with Play Store? I wonder because today morning i made a fresh install of this rom with all wipes coming from Nova mod, after first reboot it asked me for my google acc bla, bla bla, and the play store was some themed/moded market with blue highlight around. but... later at night i had to reinstall the rom, again with a full wipes, but now the rom comes without the play store...

also i checked the ROM zip file and there is not any vending.apk in /system/app... so.. i wonder where came from the play store the first time i installed the ROM =S

There's a 70-gapps.sh in addons.d which is supposed to backup and restore what's mentioned in there and... guess what. the gapps are in there. But that doesn't explain why the gapps were missing after the 2nd flash...

BTW: AIVC does not seem to do anything on this rom. :/ Might also be related to harsh's kernel though..
E: Installed spica's kernel, and its still not working. seems to be rom-related.

Hi, I'm running build number 42 + Harsh's Kernel 04/19. Getting great battery life on both Wi-Fi and 3G.

Battery life in this combo is absolutely unbelievable.
the third day in a row I'm thinking there must be something wrong in the display of battery, after heavy usage the whole day there is a rest of 70%.

really great ROM and kernel.

I had problem on owain 42 i can't boot i stay on logo with droid. Any idea ? I do a nvflash and same problem..
