Computer doesn't find TF201
I would now go through the process of installing AndroWook me Transformer Prime TF201 but have encountered a problem on the road that makes the process impossible ...
I have not hooked it up to the computer in ages so I had no idea about the problem from the beginning. I unlocked the bootloader with the downloadable tool from the Asus website. It works fine ! Now it's time to flash the TWRP . This is done via fastboot . I turn on fastboot from the bootloader while the cord is connected to my PC. Before I go any further I want to test that the connection is working and therefore writing " fastboot devices" that indicates that no device is connected. I restart the tablet and test plug it normally(from inside Android) with no results ( it installs drivers for "Unknown Device" which fails ) . I also test with " ADB devices" with no results . The first thing that came to mind was the drivers , so I went into the device manager and found " unknown device" with a yellow triangle next to , I think it had been stopped with error code 43. After a quick Google search I find some" Native drivers" that have worked for others, but these do not work for me. I get " The drivers are installed but may not work properly . Device could not start ." Have a hard time believing this could be a hardware issue since it worked before .
Things I tried :
* factory reset.
* Cold boot.
* With / without USB Debugging.
* With / without keyboard dock.
* Tested on multiple computers with the same results on all of them.
* Tested several USB ports.
Thanks in advance,
MVH Arthur !
