I have a VZW SGS4 running VRUDMI7 I rooted it with the DE LA VEGA method. Everything went smooth. I installed goo manager and I ran open script recovery, Now I can not boot normally. When ever I boot it says can not normal boot and goes to odin mode. I have to pull the battery then hold down the vol. down and power to get to custom os screen. Then I have to hit vol. down again to get it to boot. I am not sure what went wrong where.
The goal of rooting the phone was to get Google Edition rom on it.
Fail. It is not possible to install that ROM on the stock phone until someone manages to unlock the bootloader.
Second Fail: Goo Manager should TELL you that using it will brick your phone.
To recover, flash a stock ROM using ODIN, then apply the de la Vega root. You'll be rooted and stock, and that's all you can do with MI7 at the moment. Eventually Safestrap will probably work.
Oh, and you've probably blown the Knox warranty fuse.
My Android devices:
vzw Samsung Galaxy S4 stock MJ7, no longer rooted.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, also stock but rooted.
VZ Droid Incredible 2 rooted but otherwise stock.
