[Q] Update Firmware while rooted

Hey guys
im new here so im sorry if i make a mistake
i have xperia sp c5302 that i rooted with SuperSU chainfire (sorry if i made a mistake in here)
i got firmware update 12.1A.0.266
what i have to do update the firmware ?

just straight download it or what ?
i fear i bricked my phone if i just straifgt download it

Yes bro! you can update your phone directly. It doesn't brick your phone. But I want to know how you rooted your phone? SuperSU is not rooting app and it cannot root your phone itself. It is app that only manages rooting privileges. Installing only SuperSU app does not mean you have rooting access. If you want to root just by app, use Towelroot from here.

Use the towelroot application as suggested by kelumsd. It is the most risk free root method for xperia sp. You can update ur device by using flashtool for xperia and untick the system in the exclude section before flashing. Once flashed, your device will reboot as usual
