Video
Codec: h264
Size: 1920x1080
Bitrate: 3000
Frame Rte: 24fps

Audio
Codec: AAC
Sample Rate: 48000
Bitrate: 128000
Channels: 5.1 (thinking should have selected 2.1 as volume is really faint) Was wanting it so I could play on the tablet or Mirror to HD TV and play when I travel.

Thanks for your help.
You should have just gone with DVDCatalyst. It has numerous presets for every device. You wont have to go thru configuring settings.

Transformer Infinity - CleanRom (always the newest version)
160gb of total space.
Nexus 7 - 32gb - Unrooted

I would also advise leaving the frame rate set at "original". You don't want to use 24fps if the original was shot at 30fps and vice versa. I also don't use 5.1 as many devices cannot down convert and you won't have sound then. I always use 2 channel.
Thanks for the help, I will give those settings a try and see what happens.

I am using a 32GB class 10 Samsung micro sd card. So I should be okay I would think.

Has anyone tried ripping blurays with an external bluray player? My laptop only has a dvd player and I've been able to rip dvds no problem but I want to start with my bluray collection. Has anyone done this with an external player and if so which one would you recommend? thanks

I have done it with an internal drive in an enclosure running through USB. It takes forever because USB is pretty slow compared to SATA, but it works. I used an LG drive. Older model.

Maybe a pointless question...

But are you running in Performance mode whilst watching the Blurays? And did you kill all pointless background processes?

I've got the Timescapes 4K Bluray directly ripped from the dvd to an .mkv (it's 35gb..) and it runs fine in MXplayer and BSplayer. But only in performance mode. Balanced causes lag.
