I went into my store to trade in my first gen kindle fire on a new tab S last week. Tried to get the $100 thing. They offered me $6. Six bucks to trade it in. I declined. I asked about the tablet trade in and they said the $100 is for only certain models.

Not sure but Kindles may be excluded from the offer. You can look it up and find out.

Just used this offer today. Traded in my 1st Gen iPad for the Tab S 10.5. Loving it so far. Already rooted with TWRP installed. Really hoping some more devs come on board and get some more ROMs out, especially CM.

Well, I bought the 16gb 10.5 last Wednesday. Saw this trade-in info. I have an Acer Iconia A500 in pristine condition, box and all. I explained to the CSR I wanted the trade-in deal, $50 off and $50 gift certificate and exchange my 16gb for the 32gb. Great guy. He scanned the barcode on the box of the A500 and the trade-in promotion popped up on his screen. The 32gb is $549. He took $50 off so I received the 32gb for what I paid for the 16gb and a $50 gift certificate to boot. Cool.

The BestBuy local to me honored the request yesterday. I got a 50$ coupon and $50 off. I traded in a generation 1 Nexus 7 tablet (32GB). I had the original box, but lost the charger. I upgraded to the 10.5" Galaxy Tab S (Bronze) with 32GB. Very nice table :)

Same here. I had zero issues getting the full $100 discount. $50 coupon and $50 gift card. Also had $10 from rewards. Got my 10.5 tab s 32gb out the door for $477. I can live with that! [emoji1]

    Yep, was just talking to the Samsung dude at Bestbuy and he told me they will take any working tablet as a trade-in and give you $100 off a shiny new Tab S.

    As a followup, I went to the best buy community forum ant posted my issue. Within 24 hrs they responded saying they had communicated the proper promotion rules to my store. I wen t back in, they took my worthless Archos Gen 8 and gave me the 50 dollar gift card and 50 dollar coupon. I now have my new tab s 8.4 that I will be comparing side by side with the tab pro and returning one or ft he other.

    Anyone having issues with trade in should post on the best buy forum
