there is a services.jar fix floating around here somewhere... push it with adb or root explorer on system/framework.

i just overwrote the one in the 7.6 zip before flashing it.

when a rom is loaded or an application is accessed it is bloated with all the world languages that google has preloaded in most if not all the system files!

once i remove all the languages but english thats right folks just english this is america!

then each system file size is shrunk emmensley making less ram more response and performance enhanced build!

I'm on the new nightly and i don't have the new Rosie you speak of... It the usual HTC rosie

Its a fix for netflix. And yes, i am working on a new keyboard. Flex t9. It combines the gb keyboard with swipe. Best of both worlds. ( And works a whole lot better than either one ever dreamed.)

yeah it is in the doubleshot alpha as opposed to the nightly. I am sucker for these assignable rosie's even though there is no clear reason why. I also like the dialer on the alpha. it comes up with pics from my contacts on the top as I put in the numbers. I am also a sucker for useless eye candy! I am really getting some crazy battery life on this alpha. It almost like it is not using the battery at all. I want to let it run all day to see how it drains...but I am itching to try the new rom as if king thinks it is the way to go then it most likely is. Decisions, decisions.

I'm late to the game flashing this morning... EPST function works right out of the box.. very nice!!;) I've flashed this sucker 3 times with 3 diff downloads because whenever I try to use swipe it does a force close with the "close/tell htc" menue...:confused: anybody else having this issue? or is there a workaround that somebody may have discovered already? I know this is a very MINOR thing:cool:, and the other keyboards work perfectly, I'm just spoiled with swype and have used it so long that it now takes me forevah to actually type out something...:rolleyes:

any word on the clock thing? is not crucial, it just looks funny. example...
currently its 11:34am where i am at. your NEW theme shows 1(white)1:34(blue)am(white)
when it was 9:34 it was 934(blue)am(white)


also the stop watch has the last period ex xx:xx.x white.
didnt know if you were looking for total perfection or just something that its there no matter what.

also, any update on the blue facebook update? remember i mentioned that on facebook for android, when you go to news feeds on the top right theres a radio button that lets you select between top news, most recent, status update, photos, links pages, events, videos.

can somebody please tell me what's the difference between the 7.6 and the king's kingdom? I just downloaded the king's kingdom and am wanting to flash it but then I thought.."wait a second, I know King's stuff is first class and that I haven't been here since 7.2, but what's the difference?"...lol

Yeah... EPST should since the 2.1 update-1 apk was given to King to add to it. Enjoy!

@EVO... Look back a few posts... King explains them all. And if your still on 7.2, your in for a ton of surprises haha... Enjoy!

They are two completely different builds. Alliance is a 2.1 3.0 hybrid. Kingdom is 3.0

    1. Wipe data/factory reset
    2. Wipe cache
    3. Wipe Dalvik cache
    4. Flash KingsMOD format all zip
    5. Flash rom!

    5. Put into bootloader power button/vol down
    6. Bootloader will read the update

    9. Remove file from sd or it will read the file over and over everytime you boot yur phone!
    10. Enjoy oldskool simple flawless recovery!
    11. Done flash away!

    Ok so heres the goods, added transparency to notification dropdown , and of course I included the semi-transparent rosie, took the phone icon out of the rosie, gonna let you guys decide if that should stay that way or put the phone back in! Optimized the hell out of the images inside the theme, and of course all .apk's are odexed! (note to any up and coming themers out there, If you want to create a theme for this rom and plan to enable transparency for your notification dropdown you can go ahead and use my SystemUI.odex! Or you can take the long way around and deodex the systemui.apk, make the required smali edits, then odex it again! Its up to you

    There is also no need to wipe cache or dalvik, as I added it to the updater script! Please make sure, after flashing, that you fix apk uid missmatches.
    Note: You may have to reboot twice to get the full effect!!

    Lets get the facts straight now!
    It takes me days sometimes weeks to build a rom!

    I have to go thru everything in the rom from apks to the framework to editing script!
    I have to research i have to opt apks! Remove bloat! tear clocks apart! Dissect lockscreens!
    Rip apart rosies not to mention gimping and paint .net! ripapart dialers! crack open Keyboards!
    edit xml, change lib files,bin files,jar files,user,etc,modules,kernels lots and lots and lots!

    Thousands and thousands of hours!
    Then i have to put up with users that never did any more than titanium backup and root explorer tell me that i dont do anything but theme a rom!

    It disgusts me how ungrateful users are anymore and its only getting worse!
