Apply this now...

I ran 5 tests on 3g, 4g and wifi.

My averages were:

3g: 1227.8 / 871.6
4g: 6947.8 / 1880.25
wifi: 13040.2 / 6533.6

Applying patch now, will test again.

Hmm I applied the patch and I am seeing a BIG difference, but not in the way I'd expect. I'm seeing a large gradient of results, rather than an overall increase.

For example. my lowest 3g score pre-patch was 962kbps. After, I have 686kbps. Highest 3g pre-patch was 1487kbps, highest post-patch was 1459kbps.

Here are my results.. values are in kbps, bold numbers at the end are the averages.

pre-patch
3g: 1159/869 1183/847 962/936 1348/839 1487/867 1227.8/871.6
4g: 7783/1502 6367/1496 5469/1518 9597/1521 5523/1484 6947.8/1880.25
wifi: 13481/6745 13278/6770 13316/6601 11842/6679 13287/5873 13040.2/6533.6

post-patch:
3g: 685/854 1459/891 1324/978 1340/939 926/857 1146.8/903.8
4g: 9413/1502 2034/1493 2766/1518 8522/1522 2258/1506 4998.6/1508.2
wifi: 10888/7716 10209/8369 10810/8908 10991/7785 10740/7425 10727.6/8040.6

overall, the speeds seem to be the same, minus the large gradient between them. Will test for a couple of days.

Forgot to say I'm on Legendary ROM 4.0.1. NYC area, full 3g/4g, 802.11n where applicable.

I need a stronger signal tweak. I get horrible signal at work cause i am in a IT factory but it's fk'd up cause i get intermittent reception, is there a way to make my phone stay connected longer or connect with a lower signal? i know there is?! someone point to the right tower!

Ever since I installed this, I'm getting tons of fc's. Re-flashing the rom didn't fix them. Previously, I've been running smoothly on 3.5 and now 4.0 for a few days with no issues.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
