I have tested safestrap for this phone. With the help with the creator of safestrap. I just backed up my phone successfully with the twrp for safestrap. If you decide to try it, use it at your own risk. If it bricks your phone it is not my fault nor xda. The version, I believe you can't go any higher, for safestrap was 3.71 and also the creator said you can't install anything other than a 4.3 TW rom
Look up safestrap for more information. You can only use a touchwiz rom based on the same version as you have now. If you have version 4.3 you need a TW 4.3 ROM

P.S. So far I know back up works fine, I don't know about flashing ROMS on it
Update: Restoring using safestrap will soft-brick the phone.
