The only phones that need to worry are tmous phones, you have a uk phone, which is the same as everyone else except tmous.
You can use ANY radio, 50 or 51, no problem. However only .50. radios will unlock the 576 meg ram, and if you flash a 51 radio with a rom that unlocks the ram it probably wont boot until you flash a 50 radio.,

Marvellous, thanks :)

I have a question for the TMOUS folks, does 2.07 radio have a better battery performance than the stock 2.08????? Just wondering

So many many times it was pronounced that there is a definite connection between radio versions:
x.xx.50.x is for Tmous,
x.xx.51.x is for classic HD2.
You can use 50 with HD2, but there will ALWAYS be stability or battery issues (it just was not designed for hd2).
NEVER use 51 on Tmous.

2.10.50.08_2 radio and AT&T

Works great. can't tell if (or how much) better than 2.08 radio I had before..

Reception- good (3-4 bars in areas known to have issues)
3G - Not on AT&T with my UK HD2..
2G - Had few times problems. Get message no network is available. retry solved it. Not sure if it is radio related or not.
GPS- same as before, works just great (get a cold fix in 30 seconds, warm fix instantly)

and the $1M question - battery..... seems to be a bit better than 2.08, if to judge by the fact I run the phone for 10 hours with standard use 9few calls, few texts, email writing etc.) and lost only 25% of battery. 2.5% per hour average, with moderate usage is great.. yet again, not really a professional report, just an observation, so if there are any other AT&T users in the US, you can try the 2.10 radio and compare to my experience. over all- OK.

I am on a TMOUS HTC HD2 and am running the stock 2.08 radio, would anyone recommend updating to the 2.09 or 2.10 radio? Has any one had any issues? Thanks

How is the performance of these radios?

Radio performance is largely based on location around the world and different people can have entirely different results from others. It's really hard to say which is the "best"... you should try several out, each for at least a day at a time, and then use whichever you find works best for you- battery life, signal strength, bluetooth / call clarity and quality, GPS signal lock, data speed and retention, wifi connectivity, and so on.

great, I asked kholk but he probably he's not very active lately :p

Welcome, glad to help out ;)

:D hey 2.10.50 or 2.09.50 which better for 576mb?

Well of course it depends on where you are and what works best for me may not be what's best for you. That being said, 2.09.50 has given me much better reception and decent battery life. I'm going to stick with it for a few days and see.

    Installing:
For installing a RADIO ROM you need HardSPL installed to your device.
Rename the extracted file to "RUU_Signed.nbh" and flash with the CustomRUU: it won't hardreset your device.

    FAQ:
*-What is the .7z extension? How can I decompress it?
    * The .7z extension is a 7-Zip compressed file. You can decompress it with the latest version of almost every (de)compression software. Anyway, the best for decompressing 7z files is 7-Zip (Freeware).

    *-What is a Radio ROM?
    * The Radio ROM is the software part of your device that is powering on/off and controlling your radio interfaces. This includes Bluetooth, 2G/3G Phone, WiFi, GPS..... And it also includes the OEMSBL (Radio BootLoader) and other device specific firmwares needed for using your radio interfaces and for interfacing them with the OS (Windows Mobile/Android).

    *-What is rilphone.dll?
    * rilphone.dll is a Windows Mobile "driver" that tells to your OS what are the commands suitable for your Radio ROM. When a new Radio ROM is released, sometimes a new rilphone.dll will come with it because a new radio may contain a new command for a different scope (battery optimization, best signal calibration, etc..)

*-How can I install a new rilphone.dll to my already installed ROM?
    * You can make a CAB or use Resco Explorer... However, it has to be put in \Windows\ directory (and, of course, you need to reboot after the installation!)

    *-Why change rilphone.dll?
    * Replacing your rilphone.dll is a dangerous task and it should be done only if you experience real problems with your current one. Remember that rilphone is an essential library for your phone to work correctly, so.. you can break the phone part of your ROM or make it to work correctly with your current radio (but in any case this can't break your device's hardware). In short, replace it only if you know what are you doing!!

    Happy flashing!

thanks to everyone for dumping and creating the nbh's (3.14 htc rebuilt nbh myself).
i also renamed all nbh's and repacked them into rar's with equal name for overview.

hspl is needed to flash the radio roms independent from main rom.
leoadvancedruu highly advised to flash radio rom without hard-reset.

for now, those can be used until kholk reuploads them elsewhere.
please hit the thanks button if you use my links. thanks.

    enjoy

    RADIO Mirrors added

    Hello everyone,
i'd just like to inform you that i have added all Radios mirrored by HD2Owner (thank you, Sir!) to my own MediaFire HD2 Repository, which anyone may access to their liking. The Link is in my Signature.
By the looks of it, the 2.09 Radio versions are gone from HD2Owner's mirror, so i cannot provide links to them either. I suppose they must be flawed or something.
    Hope it helps anyway.

I didn't check if the actual download link was still good. I have re-uploaded an archive with both radios http://www.multiupload.nl/3AXAACB5CG, just flash the radio that doesn't say TMOUS :)
