+1, same here...

Battery is getting low even if the mobile is on standby mode and screen locked.

I've 2 questions:
1- Is there any way to enable led notifications for our apps?
2- Is there any way to disable "root mode". It's really annoying for me to give root access any app I install...

for me, my omega lasts nearly 3 days with normal usage (stock and my custom rom).

i would say the battery drain is caused by crappy homebrew apps (memory leaks).
i enabled instant resuming in rom by default (in stock rom it's disabled)
wich (in combination with crappy homebrew apps you probably installed)
could be the cause of your battery drain.

change this (with wp7 root tools) and test again please (disable instant resuming):

about root mode:
it's only needed for homebrew apps that need root access.
normal apps from market do NOT need root access.
ultrashot's apps have root access by default.

Well, I've some homebrew apps installed, it might be because when I instaled the rom yesterday, battery was working ok.


I'll try your hint.

Anyway, I tried spotify this morning without root access and I was unable to sync my lists till I gave it root access.

Is it possible to enable led notifications finally?

apps that are installed legally from marketplace don't even show up in root access manager because none of them needs root access.

led notifications work for me. what do you mean with "in our apps"?

yes. it means "free up ram memory if apps are paused and shifted to background".
if alot of apps are opened in background and dehydrate is disabled, device consumes more power.

Well, as I told ya, if there was no root access for spotify, it was unable to download my lists to the device...

I mean to enable led notifications for new mails, new whatsapp messages, new sms, ...

Is there any way to enable it?

well, as i told ya, official apps downloaded from market don't need root access.
deinstall and redownload the application from official market to fix this.
notification led works, but only if screen is off when a message arrives.
if screen is on, you get notified by toast messages and livetile numbers.
for what's app led notifications, ask what's app developers.

no, it's something different (dehydrateonpause/more than 8 apps in bg).

I'm trying the battery now without the "battery app" and without touching the registry so we'll see... I'll tell ya at the end of the day about that result

1. to disable root mode completely, just flash a stock rom
i mean what's the point of removing this feature if 99% of users
that flash this rom flash it because they want rooted rom?

2. you don't have to give root access every time.
it's a one time operation that is saved for every installed app that you gave root.

Can you name some apps that might be causing the battery leak?

I do not get led notification for messages, even when screen is off.. Is there any tweak I should follow to get this..

Does anyone have red cross in battery mode instead of white heart? Digital power isn't working here either even with given root access.

I would not even try doing that .

DFT :

Deinstallation

1. Flash stock ROM via RUU.
-=OR=-
Run HSPL wizard and choose "2.05 - OSPL" to restore stock SPL.
2. Do not forget to make poker face in repair center!

so no way going back ( i think ).

Just flash official RUU and you're back to stock
Official RUU consists of stock SPL and stock ROM. If you want to keep HSPL but use stock ROM, delete the SPL's nbh file (i dont remember the exact name)
Anyway, the poker face is just for some bad day. Nothing to worry about

i'm sorry. there is really a problem with notification led.
recooked the rom (with some additonal things too ).
now i'm testing and i will upload it soon if all goes well.

could you, HD2Owner, perhaps use the original boot logo of Windows Phone - the one with red square, isntead of current windows logo over the planet earth? Or this boot logo represents your credits?

Indeed battery is having issues with this rom. My radar has been connected during all day (from 11 to 19) to get full load vía USB. Now it says 75%, 7hours left...
