Running Whatsapp on a dual SIM Android phone
Hi! I am using a dual SIM Android phone, Highscreen Alpha GTR, the phone has two IMEA codes and is equipped with two SIM cards with two different numbers. Both of the numbers are used for voice and sms with different contacts. However some contacts (professional life) use only one number and are unaware of the other, the rest (private life) use the other number and are unaware of the other number. There are just a few contacts who are aware of the both, and I want to keep it that way, strictly separated.
Is it possible to use Whatsapp maintaining this requirement?
All the contacts are stored in my Google contacts which is synchronized with my phone contact book. There is no direct division in the book right now, but I could make two groups SIM1 and SIM2, go through and assign it to different contacts, or even make two different google accounts.
Or is it possible to have two different Whatsapp accounts and manually add contacts from my contact book, each time deciding, which account to choose?
Thank you, Kolovan
