1)Download the update.zip you want. It will probably go to your downloads folder... you can keep it there or move it to root folder if you like.
2)Reboot to recovery
3)Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
5)Wait while it updates
6)Sucess! Reboot and enjoy your update!
Hope it helps
This is a noob question. I just don't want want to screw my N7 2013 because I misunderstood something.
I have a rooted nexus 7.2 (2013) with stock rom. I've installed the first two 4.3 updates before rooting and I have now received update #3 which I need to install.
I used WugFresh to root but with great difficulty getting adb to be found on my windows 7 laptop. Took days of trying before I got it to work and then could proceed to root.
When I now go to recovery I have the Android with a red triangle which I've been told means I don't have a recovery installed.
Will the steps you describe work without unrooting and even though I don't have a recovery installed?
(In case you ask why I don't just use WugFresh to install a recovery, the answer is that WugFresh toolkit is again telling me it cannot find adb so I can't even do a Nandroid backup).
Can I directly flash a recovery without going through WugFresh or is that something that just can't be done?
