New modpack for cleardroid 1.4.0
Hey Stick just wanna say thanks for all your hard work on the awesome mods for the Cleardroid ROM for the Inspire. I noticed that when I installed the latest modpack for Clear Ds latest ROM (1.4.0) I lost many mods such as the green lock ring. Are you planning on writing any updated packs for this ROM? I thought the previous pack (1.4.2) had much better features however will not let me use with newest ROM version (1.4.0)

The new ROM 1.4.X has the new 2.3.5/3.0 base.
So far I have not been able to find skins, etc that will work with the new base on our Inspires.
I have seen skins that say "Will work with any Sense 3.0 device." but that was before this base came out.
Hope that we will see some new stuff coming out soon.
I really miss my Inspire Under Glass!

This is based on work and instructions that I found here by mudknot2005 and marccramer. Also, instructions that I found here. If you like it, slip over there and thank them, too!
The Splash is flashable through Hboot. I like to copy it to the root of my SD card so that the original file (with full name) is still in a folder somewhere. Rename it PD98IMG.zip and reboot into bootloader. Beware of the .zip.zip condition.

The Bootanimation can be copied to system/customize/resource. Delete or move the existing ATT_bootanimation.zip to a folder on your SD card. Change the permissions to rw-r--r-- and rename the file to the same as what was there. I named it starting with "A" so that it would at the top of the resource folder.

2Sorry, I wasn't 100% Shure on that method...I was just trying to get the LockScreen settings up quicker. Here is the full Sense 3.0 LockScreen, for Sense 2.1.
DO A FULL BACK UP BEFORE FLASHING ZIP OR PUSHING APKs, BACKUP ALL 2.1 SYSTEM APKS, WIDGETS, SETTINGS, & CLOCKS
You can either Flash Zips or extract APKs[SIZE"4"](IF YOU'VE CUSTOMIZED MOD EXTRACT & PUSH THE APKS) and uninstall 2.1 APKs and push 3.0 APKs (DO NOT PUSH IF YOUR NOT SHURE WHAT TO DO)[/SIZE]
I was was able to get the 3.0 Port to work on ClearDroid ROM with help from Seo @ http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1062962&page=315 (Thanks Seo)who Developed Sense 3.0 Ports for HTC Desire with Sense 2.1 OS GB. This Port has the SENSE 3.0 ROSIE APK, LOCKSCREEN APK, MMS, IDLESCREEN AND MOST SYSTEM APK & WIDGETS so be shure to BACKUP THE CURRENT
1. DO A FULL BACKUP (INCLUDE THE ROSIE APK & ALL WIDGETS, SETTINGS, SYSTEM APK, CLOCKS)
2. FLASH CLEARDROID MODPACK & REBOOT & REMOVE THE HTC LOCKSCREEN APK
**DO NOT WIPE
3. FLASH SENSE 3.0 WEATHER PACK & DEPOT TO SET CHANGES
**DO NOT WIPE
4. FLASH STOCK 3.0 WEATHER KINGDOM LOCK

To change WallPaper on LockScreen
*First of all you want to grab m10 tools ( You can find the link for m10 tools right here http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=1218927)
Once you have that downloaded, open it up. Now you want to get the image ready that youre wanting as your wallpaper. To make things easier on yourself, make three copies. The image needs to be set EXACTLY this way
1. Image needs to be resized to EXACTLY 540x960. You can do this in any image editor.
2. Flip the image upside down.
3. The images MUST be PNG format.
Open up m10 and click load file. Navigate and select the IdleScreen_Weather.apk.
Once this loads, you want to click the tab that says m10 Files. At the bottom of the screen, youll see where it says Decode Images, make sure you check that box.
You want to double click the Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10. It will ask if you want to decompile it. Click yes. At this point, youll be brought to the next tab which is Editor.
From here you want to expand until you see Textures. Under there you will see three spots labeled Texture. Click that and it will bring up an image to the right. Right click on this image and click "Show in Explorer". You will see three png files in here. You want to replace each one with the images you created earlier. This is important though. Make sure you copy the name of each file youre replacing EXACTLY. Im not responsible for any errors you make on renaming.
Once you get all three of the images replaced, go back to start and then save .apk Make sure to use the same name.
Now you can either push this through ADB or just place the apk onto your SD card. If youre using a root explorer, which is how I do it cause its just easier, you want to copy the apk into the system/app folder. You want to make a backup incase you run into any issues. Once you get your edited apk inside of the system/app navigate to the file and long press and go to permissions then set them as follows.
Read Write Execute Owner: X X 0 Group: X 0 0 Others: X 0 0
Once your permissions are fixed, you want to reboot. When you reboot go to personalize, Lock screen, and then choose weather and click apply and thats it you have just created your very own sense 3.0 lock screen hope all went well if anything happens to go wrong PM me and i will try and walk you threw it.
