RapidShare Hosting is a waste of time...

Rapidshare is a waste of time... 39kb/s and failure after 2.5 hours with no resume...

For goodness sake will someone mirror this file so we can get hold of it!!

I totally agree with him on all the above features which are excellent, except for me the battery.

After 2 hrs of charge it's down to 74% with 45 minutes of Music, 2 calls and 2 sms.

Even the camera trick doesn't work. Is it the 5.71 radio ? with BTTF, I had 5.51T radio and it used to last me for at least 18hrs. Now, it's more like 10hrs.

Do you suggest I try re-flashing with 5.51T ? Or am I missing something ?

Another issue I noticed yesterday. I had this conf call I had to take and it went on for like 1.5 hrs. During that time I noticed that both my outlook and hotmail refused to sync. So question is when a call is on, does the 2G connection stops working ? Is this on all phones or only with mine ?

Ok finally i succeeded in downloading this.
What i did is what i did before too. So i think it was just trying and trying and finally getting lucky and having a working download slot allotted from RS' side.
I switched off ESET completely again, i switched off Peerguardian and i reset my Router. The third or fourth try with Opera finally went stable and did not fail anymore.

Interesting Notice firefox spits out when aborting: "could not read from source", so i assume very much so that Rapidshare either has/had problems with their servers or is intentionally starving the free users to death.

Ansar, although i have always been mirroring ROM's for people here on RS myself i'd recommend to drop that Host. I also use Uploaded.to, Freakshare (sucks too!) and 4Shared. For smaller than 200mb files i only use MediaFire. Since there is no really good Host at the moment, its much up to the user. But RS really stinks now...

I have some insight for the bluetooth microphone, there is no such thing as drop after some minutes but there is some substantial drop when the person i call is in a noisy place.

If my wife is on the bus i have some serious bt mic level reduction, if i use normal or speaker she hear me again. I make 2 educated suggestion:

1 there is a magic gnome in the bus that want to piss me off
or
2 maybe the noise cancellation algorithm go nuts and mess with mic volume

no problem with android sd and same hardware.

Any suggestion?

great in other rom aspect but i havent test the battery.
For now as always great rom Ansar.

Bluetooth is the main remaining problem now

I have not tried the latest rom yet.
But I hear the same problems.
I have noticed that the incoming sound is generally acceptable.
But the outgoing voice is sometimes intermittently interrupted or is very low especially in OUTGOING CALLS!This is unrelated to radio because I tried them both.I tried 2 bluetooth sets, a bit old I must admit, with the same problem.
This is really strange.I dont remember if this problem existed in the first YUKI rom but it definitely exists in all current roms of all developers.
I noticed that when i removed bt file transfer, things are better.
Since few people use the bt for calling, the problem is currently underestimated but is very annoying.
Please Ansar take a look at this.

Battery trick never worked on 5.71, just on 5.51. Combined with Hardware-Radio 2.12 i had the best results. I am in Germany. This can be different in other regions! Trial and Error.
Ansar stated earlier, that his power Management is different from the other WP7 ROM's and thus the old Radio and Camera Trick is not necessary, yet i'd still try.
Give it a shot and report. I'd be interested. Also, where you are to have an idea if it's comparable to my location in any way. I have only bad Edge signal where i am.

Ansar, I am not complaining without reason. I am just stating the fact. By lunch time today, the battery level was at 52% without any activity.

I am not complaining about your ROM. As I have said before yours is one of the best roms out there today. Better than DFT.

Sorry if my Posts sound angry. I shouldn't be waiting for your ROM. I should actually be at work. I do appreciate your efforts and would really like to try your ROM. The downloading issue has made me wait until saturday this week. That makes me a little disappointed and, yes probably angry. I know i shouldn't be. My Apologies.

I just learned my lesson. I will drop RS as a mirror for TBD as long as they continue to starve users. I disagree with your statement that this is due to the Download figures. I have seen RS handle gigantic amounts of parallel downloads and still serve each single one with maximum line capacity. This meaning quite a few 100Mbit customers probably. Their Backbone-Connection is absolutely capable of handling nearly any popular demand. I have seen it.
I'd much rather state again: they do this on purpose to make people pay. They have just overstretched it this time in my opinion.

Wi-Fi on? BT? Data? Location? Background apps? Battery age? ...

Could someone confirm any or all of these Hashes for me? I am afraid, my Download might be broken due to all the problems with RS:
