The terminal emulator method did not work. My splash screen stayed the same except now it is slightly messed up at the top part of it. So I guess fastboot may be the only way to do it then, huh? I guess I will try that way when I'm done being lazy!

Did you flash one of the splash screens in the OP? I've heard of that happening when you use an image that isn't the proper screen resolution. If you did use on from the OP I would say try to re-download the image. I've had several people say that the terminal emulator method worked for them. I can't say personally, I've only used the fastboot method to flash splash screens.

Never heard of that. You are using an .img file, right? Not someones .jpg file?

Yes and renamed it custom.img just like it said. Been getting error with other images as well.

Have you used the fastboot utility to flash splash screens successfully in the past? It almost sounds like fastboot is missing or functioning improperly.

The script flasher worked great. I just wanted to be able to flash with TE when I'm away from my computer. Thanks
