Can we use the old recovery such as the perfect 4.0.0.5? (mine synaptics touchscreen work great using this recovery console)

One of the main features is "fast boot", but mine takes a very long time to boot. Like 2/3 minutes (the longest of all ROM's I've tried). Is it normal? Or might be a consequence of not having flashed 3 times the B138?

I couldn't get either one, usb or wifi tethering to work. Both started but no data was transferred (did the 3 x magic update trick, tried different kernels...). Other than that, this rom seems really promising (and my tethering problems could be Individual again). :)

at first,it might be long,but it should be shorter later.It may be related one of your applications.Keep observing and report pls.

buddy,in last tests usb tethering was working with Stockwell's kernel only,but for wifi tether you should use app.from market such as Barnacle.
With Franco neither usb or wifi teth.working.
If some new fixes occur,we will add first page.Stay tuned!

I've done the first two installations of B138 with the dload folder in the internal storage.
The B138 and the dload in the internal storage could generate any errors?

according to reports here,some used internal and some used external.Internal did not cause problems as I know,but Terramino uses external for this kind of process,his advice is external.

Is it worth adding a "Known Bugs" section to the first post. You can add tethering to the list.

Then users will know exactly what they are getting :)

Sure,you are right,I'm telling the admin.Probably,it will be update tomorrow.
Usb tether was ok,only wifi tether was problematic as I remember due to kernel.

edit:btw,there are not any bugs except this tether issue.You'll love its smoothness,speed,music and photo quality.

Also as a little bit of feedback, when installing the ROM in Clockwork the messages that appear while installing are not english, it may help adding them in english too as most XDA members can speak english too :)

haha:)yess,they are all Turkish,moreover phone starts with Turkish also,you need to change manually after installation.However,i will share your feedback with Terramino,i'm not sure but maybe he prepares cwm messages and first openning English,thanks for feedback dude.

OK couple of things I have noticed:

I followed the instructions to the letter, installed B163 3 times, wiped data/cache etc but....

ONE:
ROM installed fine but if I go to manage applications it still shows apps that we installed on my previous ROM. It will not let me remove them and this size is showing as 0.0B. How can I fix this?

TWO:
Also I have set my language to "English (United Kingdom)" but certain parts are still not english like notification bar toggles and weather widget, can this be corrected? I don't want a half english half other language rom.

If I can fix these two things I will be happy!

bud,i'm using my phone english too,it happened to me and after a while it all turned to English,a reboot will work.

for first question,please again reboot and report again.I'll note down,weird,first issue like this,because it's nearly impossible after wipe data and formatting system.Could this also be related about restoring your apps back?

    Downgrade from 2.3.5 back to 2.2.2

    1) Download U8800 V100R001C00B138SP04 (Overseas General) Android 2.2.2
    2) Extract the "dload" folder and copy it (along with its contents) to the ROOT of the SD Card.
    3) Turn on your U8800 while holding [VOL-] and [VOL+] and the Android 2.2.2 install should start.
    4) Once finished you should be back to 2.2.2.
    5) If you phone does not boot correctly power on phone while holding [VOL+] to boot into recovery and Reset to factory defaults.
    6) Delete the "dload" folder from the SD Card.

    important!
    Even if you don't wipe data/factory reset,the rom will automatically delete all user data by itself,so backup all your applications,sms,call logs...etc. if necessary

    INSTALLING:
    - Wipe data/factory reset
    - Wipe Cache partition
    - Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
    - Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
    - Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
    Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file

    After installed, go to Spare Parts and run it. Then choose Window animations and Transition animations options to Fast. In this way, the desktop will have increased fluency.

    Dalvik Cache cleaned and re-adjusted during installation. For this reason, the phone still will be slow during the initial boot. Shut down and restart the phone after first opening. Now you see the opening of the phone quickly, around 30-38 seconds.

    Franco Kernel: Last franco,(most know its fame)If you want high performance use with 3d drivers.
    Suggested cpu:600-1024 smartassv2.(Tether doesn't work with Franco)

    Stockwell Kernel(Elite comes with this): If you prefer tethering,then use this kernel.(native usb tethering works,wifi tethering may need an app like Barnacle).If you prefer 3d drivers,then use 368-1024 smartassv2.If you want longer battery choose 368-600 smartassv2.(It'll be still fast).During video recording,use 544-1024 conservative,after shoot return 368-1024 smartassv2.

    Fast, stable and brillant MIUI Experience on original Huawei Gingerbread code!..


    Elite X2 ROM was built on the Huawei u8800 B528 factory firmware and Honor B866 Gingerbread software components.

    Elite X2, does not include .32 kernel drivers like other MIUI versions. All drivers are original .35 kernel Huawei drivers.

    Beats Audio added. In addition, the high quality sound settings were applied. (from other Elite series ROMs)
    WiFi and Wired tether applications added. (Both applications were tested.)
    Added new RAM sctipt. (Customized for Elite X2)
    Added Huawei Honor Extras.
    Integrated PDroid Privacy Security system.

    Open status bar. Look right top, three dots (...) Long press to three dots, detailed settings. Also short press to three dots for Toogle Customization menu.
