Cannot boot with Vol+ ?
Hi,
Im trying to use your tutorial to unlock my bootloader,
I have everything downloaded and on my desktop.
My Live with Walkman doesn't want to boot with me holding the Vol+ key,
It just continues onto the offline charging? Volume- Brings me to a black
screen with a Green LED and an S1 Boot flash or something in device manager,
It installs a driver called 'SEMC Flash' then?
I've tried the program with this mode, but nothing?

Have you checked that your phone is unlockable...?
And the correct process is shut down your phone, hold volume up button, connect the usb cable on the phone side then connect the usb to your PC. Blue button should light up.
Make also sure your pc driver's are ok.

With LWW we have 2 state :
1. Hold volume up and plugin USB cable : fastboot mode
2. Hold volume down and plugin USB cable : flash mode
Others have physic back button please press back button for flash mode

Answer : If you have stock rom with any version of firmware, especially with 0.62 and above we have to unlock before get root. Because higher security and up to now we cant find any exploit to get root as old method we did : zergRush. So we have to unlock to reflash the kernel in boot partition.
After unlock your phone please flash by this tool with custom kernel i provided (credits for bbooff) and you will get root with CWM v5.2.7.

Unlocking bootloader is not needed for .62 and higher. You can just downgrade to .58 or older version, root your phone and then make OTA update to .62.
CWM does not give root rights. Some kernels have specific function.
If your phone is locked to a network(branded), then currently the only way is with WotanServer and you have to pay.
When I bought it with a release of the first programs to unlock that is octopusbox.com, and it worked, my network is unlocked, but now I've been reading about unlocking bootloader but my LWW says Bootloader unlock allowed says NO
I thought there was another way to put "yes" without paying back = /

Before to do follow these instructions. Please go to Dialpad and press :*#*#7378423#*#* . Go to Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. Look at Boot loader unlocked allow and if it's show No you cant unlock bootloader. Otherwise, you can unlock your bootloader.

- Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher to run stable !
- Download SE Bootloader Unlocking v1.6 + libs + drivers :
- Extract "SE Bootloader_Unlocking_Relocking_1.6.rar" and you'll find out "Flashtool-drivers.exe", run it to install . When installing, remember to choose drivers for fastboot and Flashmode! Just hit Install Anyway if Windows ask you to install the drivers!
- From your phone dial pad, press *#06# to get the IMEI code.
- Open the program. Enter the 14-digit IMEI code into the first text box.
- Press the Get Unlock Code button. You will see your unlock code in the Unlock Code box.
- Turn off the phone, hold Volume Up and connect the USB cable to the computer. If the LED light turn blue that means the phone is now on Fastboot mode.
- Click the Unlock BL button. The program will automatically unlock your bootloader!
- If you want to flash any custom kernel to install CWM or root your phone, double click on third text box and select your .IMG or .SIN file. Click Flash to flash the custom kernel.
- If you want to relock bootloader, click Flash Mode and then check Relock BL , double click on third text box and select your .FTF file. Turn off the phone and hold Volume Down and connect the USB cable to the computer. If the LED light turn green that means the phone is now on Flash mode. Click Flash to flash your FTF relock file.
- If you want to flash .FTF file do as above but uncheck Relock BL. We have on more Option is Wipe Data / Cache use to Factory reset when flash new firmware ! If you only need to repair your phone please don't check Wipe Data / Cache.
