I think I missed something.... Now every time I restart it, I get the message about encryption/data failed to reboot and factory reset, but that fails as well... any suggestions??

Hey guys, how long is the first boot into Omni typically take? I didn't flash the super user stuff just yet, so I'm thinking that may be an issue. Thoughts?
Awesome work for pushing Kit Kat to the Xoom! I've only had one Android tablet, this Xoom, since day one.
It can take 5 or 6 minutes. Why didn't you flash supersu when you installed the ROM and gapps?
are you using a g+ that comes with a Gapps package? I have mine installed from playstore and it works fine
I've tried it both ways... either the G+ app coming through the PA full gapps package, or installing the lite gapps package that doesn't come with G+, and install from the play store, and I get similar results. In either situation G+ force closes on startup. Not sure if any other apps are doing this but this is the first one I've encountered with this particular behavior...
Thanks,
Mike
Have you tried going into settings, apps, Google+ and clearing defaults, cache and data? Then force stop and reboot. Do not restore data with TiBu. I hope this helps.
I want to say I followed the instructions exactly but if that was the case I won't be writing this. So help me figure out what I screwed up
After going through the steps, I get a bootloop at the omni logo.
When I reboot into recovery to try the process again I notice the cache isn't mounting. Every google search I find tells me I'm pretty screwed.
I think I picked the wrong version for my WiFi Xoom. Just noticed I'm on the LTE form

@Schischu. Confirmed. Your updated motosim file works great. No FC at all. Amazing work.Ok lets try this
Download
http://duckbox.info/android/MotoSimUiHelper.apk
I hope you are familiar with adb.
Push file to device
adb push MotoSimUiHelper.apk /sdcard/
Open shell to device
adb shell
Enter on adb shell following
su
If you have supersu installed you will get a popup on your device screen, if not it will just work
mount -o remount,rw /system
cp /sdcard/MotoSimUiHelper.apk /system/app/
reboot
And if we are lucky it will work
Thanks so much for the AWESOME job! I'm really impressed, and working pretty well! I do have a couple of bugs to report... as some others have reported as well...
1.) When my 4G/LTE SIM is inserted, I constantly get the error "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped"... when switching from Wifi to LTE, or just booting up with my SIM inserted, etc... and the only way I can get it to stop is to eject the SIM card. When it is inserted and has a 4G signal, I am able to use the network... so that part is amazing!
2.) I tried to change my wallpaper, but I immediately got the errors "Unfortunately, Launcher3 has stopped", and "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped". I tried loading Nova to get around the launcher error, but it does the same exact thing.
Keep up the good work. Feeling very much in Alpha-land right now... so, I'm really looking forward to loading regular builds!
