Hi guys. Long time lurker; first time poster. Any help would be appreciated.
My S3's power switch died so I popped it off to stop it from automatically turning itself on/off. Then I got stuck in a bootloop (CM11). Is there a way to reset my phone without a power switch? There doesn't seem to be a way to flash a new ROM without getting into recovery mode.
My last resort will be to just buy a soldering iron and replace the power switch, but I'd like to fix this ASAP with the supplies I have. I did buy a jig but this doesn't really help me get into recovery mode.
Any ideas?
