I'm still on the old bootloader as my Download Mode is the same as the photo in post #9. Via CWM I flashed Omega V12 which is based on MI1. So the upshot is as long as any new rom you choose to use is flashed via CWM instead of ODIN the old bootloader will remain and Knox won't be an issue. This isn't an issue for me, I can't remember the last time I used Odin for flashing anything other than a recovery.
Hopefully Samsung won't somehow start releasing builds which rely on newer bootloaders to work. And, even if they do, hopefully the cookers can bypass the restriction anyway.
