The new version flashes fine on both CWM and TWRP. That's the good news.
The bad news is that the kernel deletes all APNs, which isn't a huge deal. But, it either isn't rooted or doesn't work with Super user.

That seems to be ROM related..kernel has nothing to do with APN's..
delete the last line on install script..something related to /system/xbin..never had problems on mine before..
if you are on AOSP then ROOT will have issues..i will make a RAMDISK that will support one..sheeessh..on TW if you flashed my previous BOOT image then ROOT works fine with it..
