TA Update

Hi, im on 4.2.2 and will take the Update. Did the 4.4.2 Update upgrade the TA Partition or can i use the Version from 4.2.2??

What does the ta partition have to do with updating to 4.4?

This is my Question. So the 4.4.2 Update do not update the TA Partition

I'm guessing not as the only ta backup I have is from 4.3 and I've relocked my bootloader on both 4.2 and 4.4 using the only one backup without any problems

Your backup should work fine, I was on CM11 but decided to go back to stock yesterday. I restored my TA backup from 4.2.2. Effectively soft bricking the phone while relocking the phone and restoring my DRM keys, then immediately used flashtool to flash the global 4.4 update. All worked fine. On first boot it updated my NFC firmware which I believe is TA linked but its running perfectly now.
