Go to your adb/fastboot folder on your desktop and shift+right click anywhere in the folder and select "open command prompt here," and then enter the comman "fastboot erase cache"

if that doesn't work download another recovery like twrp or philz and enter the command "fastboot flash recovery recoverynamehere.img" and then once again type fastboot erase cache.

Flash TWRP 2.6.3.3. fastboot erase cache and then try installing kernel again
CWM has issues with kitkat and TWRP 2.7 is also the same.

I had no problem with TWRP 2.7.0.0. and PhilZ touch recovery until I made my device S-OFF with firewater and I locked bootloader with "./revone -l". I tried install that mod, which i posted up and my recovery after install rebooted to system with no change. Then I unlocked my bootloader with "./revone -u" and also my recovery just rebooted.

Only need to re lock bootloader if your thinking of selling or sending it into repair. . With S-Off there is no need to lock bootloader if your installing a RUU.. and never S-On. ..

Can you post a screen pic of your bootloader

You could also try flashing a hboot 1.44 that has been known to solve your particular problem

I don't know what solved my problem. But I flashed hboot 1.44 and after read darksnoopys thread I tried some commands (but just "e2fsck -v -f /dev/block/mmcblk0p37" works) and in recovery i can flash again flashing
