It was a RAM question. Figured it out though. I was looking at the full detailed specs for this phone. Saw it had 512mb of RAM, in the task manager it says 375mb of RAM. Than I read on another forum that the phone has some of the RAM allocated.
Hey, I'm on the Epic Touch, but my wife has a Charge and I was thinking of putting this on. She's running stock, could I just Odin over her setup right now?

Yes but i would recommend rooting first and backing up apps.

What rooted kernel should I Odin and, pardon for sounding stupid, but what are the download mode and recovery keypresses?
Btw, you should have your devs check our thread, we have One-Click Odin and it's a Godsend.

Couple guys touched in this for you but too make it simple.
If she took the ota update and had the fp1 version already... Than yes just odin this ROM over the top. You can change kernels through clockwork anytime after that.

Yeah, she's never been rooted and all the apps she uses store data online. She's on latest ota. Crazy button combos you guys have. Download is way easier though in such a strange way.
Forgot to mention... After you get into download mode, put battery back in. I also remove Sim and sdcard when using Odin.- better safe than sorry

I'm getting hotboots now - but only when using the camera zoom fx app (after taking a picture). it is installed on my phone's memory (as opposed to SDCard)
how do I do a log cat?

and I don't think this is it:
Today I just realized a small bug. The widgets on the notification bar work just fine, but the flashlight widget.
The problem I found with it is that it shows its on when it is off, and it shows it is off when it is on. I can post a screenshot later if necessary. It's not a big issue but it is there. Anyone else having the same problem?

Edit: adding screenshot (my flashlight is off at the moment the screenshot was taken)

- Custom shutdown animation (credit to various threads and Infinity for images and information on how to implement this)

***** This mod gives you 14 scrollable quickpanel toggles accessible through the pulldown menu
***** You can modify the availability, order, and some other things using Quickpanel settings from the Settings menu
***** TIP: Try long-pressing the toggles... in particular the Data toggle. It will bring you close to a screen that will allow to switch between 3G and 4G - closest thing to a toggle for that currently
