Does the bootloader unlock actually work for Xperia Play?
If so, is it done by unlock keys, or the testpoint method?

if you get a warning like this
0yJiM.png

disable your antivirus or a add a exception as 2.3.4 is rooted via a kinda virus for android (no harm will be done to your own computer as it is for linux.).

---------- Post added at 01:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:55 PM ----------

Also some observation

OP why do you have adb included in this folder like 4 times? why not have it in the root directory of the program?
Also please note i haven't tested this yet so i don't know if it does or not, but are you redirecting the output from the command line tools?
Also You need a icon :) you should get some 1 to create one for you

It looks very cool and i presume more stuff will be added in later versions.

(oh and from now on when giving feedback i always write this - please don't be offended by what i say as i merely trying to give advice or suggestions which is what should be done in a community - i write this message so people don't rage and be abusive to me like some have)

EDIT: shouldn't this be in apps and themes not android development?

Finally there is one problem i noticed, not sure if its cuz you haven't added news yet though

And please tell me your firmware files are not stored on dropbox, because if they are then your dropbox public links will be disabled due to bandwidth and then no 1 can get your firmwares.

Hope you don't take this the wrong way just some feedback from the XDA community :)

I haven't add any news yet, I host the files in dropbox for now because I don't have any money.

And when I finish the app I'll add a donate button :)

Also I'm working on a new release now :)

So, how does the unlock tool work if you have an r800x from.after that free unlock code thing....where now you have to use testpoints?

Running 2.3.3 and got my phone at the end of march or april...meh cant remember exactly but it was of this year.
