[Q] HTC Clock on WXGA Windows Phone 8?
I really miss HTC Clock from my old HTC 8X and I would love to have it on my Nokia Lumia 920. I wanted to install it using the Fiddler2 method but that didn't work because WXGA resolution isn't supported by the application. So, here's what I thought:
ATIV S users should be able to install HTC Clock using Fiddler2 method because the resolution is the same. After they install the app they could get the encrypted XAP using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2462730
I don't know if the application uses "ID_CAP_INTEROP", if yes, I suppose we wouldn't be able to deploy the application on dev-unlocked phones and this would be useless, but if not It should only be necessary to open WMAppMainfest.xml and add this tag in <ScreenResolutions>:
<ScreenResolution Name="ID_RESOLUTION_WXGA" />
Even though the application wouldn't run (i don't really know if it would), the live tile should work fine, no?
I'm afraid that Interop is required to update the live tile every minute, but I would know your opinion about that.
