Sorry you weren't mention here Rodderik.
You were mentioned in the old Viper Trinity ROM thread. That was where we all started talking about this and asking questions about who needed to be contacted to ask permission to revive Viper ROMs. You were actually mentioned here in this post http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=19788219&postcount=6336
Proper thanks were going to be posted when the rom was posted. Trust me, rodderik, I would never do otherwise.

Yeah, WTF...
And yeah, I have all the old **** too... and the Viper "Hell" theme ported to EB13, EC05 and EI22... I think I'll just effing delete it.

I joined XDA after EC05 was released, so never having flashed a ViperRom I didn't know Rodderick was part of Team Viper; nevertheless, my apologies for the gross oversight. It was Rodderick's "one click root" that I used to root my Epic for the first time!
And thanks to Rob for the update on the ETA.
EDIT- it was Noobnl that wrote the one-click root- Rodderick was my first custom Kernel (Genocide). Man, I just be pissing everyone off. I'll shut up now.

I'm really just messing with you guys...if TPhillips said starkskyrob could take off with what used to be Team Viper's stuff then I'm ok with it. (I'm sure he probably mentioned it to me at some point)

i kno ucan get it on the market /// but u shud add the AGILE lock screen ... w the halo ... that wud be on point & the first ...... i have it on my epic but if it cud be in cluded in the locks creen mod would be very cool ....... thanx

Just for the record here, to the best of my knowledge nobody from the original Viper team has anything to do with this. We've all moved on to other projects.
Best of luck to you guys, I'm sure you'll do the name proud. I just wanted to clarify that this new Viper team has nothing in common whatsoever with the old crew except that they are using the same name and developing a ROM for the Epic.
Insanity is correct- this all started last week, when user o0oXDAo0o asked about using a new kernel with Trinity 3.0. Turned out Starskyrob was looking at porting Viper to EI22, and I talked to TPhilips who gave his blessings. Rodderick and a couple of others chimed in to bestow and bless, and here we are. But it was Rob's generous gift, based on the creative genius legacy of Team Viper- many thanks to all of you. I'd like to see an iPhone thread where they'd get this excited about bringing back the interface on the iPhone 2! (Oh, wait; it hasn't changed much, has it?)

After weeks of struggling with my epic, i've managed so break the flex cable that attached the digitizer to the board.
Unfortunately, this means the end of my epic development. I do not have the funds to purchase a phone for development use, and to have a donation begging thread would literally make me sick. I'm not that kind of developer. Hell I'm not even that talented of a developer, and would rather people spend their money donating to Cyanogenmod, the CM Epic team, XDA, and the various other institutions which make our phones break through to their full potential.
This forum [the Epic 4G forum] has been one of the best experiences of my internet life. Thank you all for your support over the past year. It's been an awesome ride.
I'm sorry to let the viper fans down. I wanted nothing more than to make you all happy.
