Quick guide to preroot system.img:

ICS
Installed debian/gnome, updated and downloaded pyton and other packages
Downloaded ext4 utilites: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1081239

  • Flash the system through a .ftf with flashtools
  • Flash a custom kernel with recovery (or the nozomi recovery)
  • Backup nandroid
  • We get a system.ext4.tar ··· move it to your developement folder
  • Create a folder (mkdir system)
  • Enter nautilus with root acces
  • Extract system files to the created folder
  • Modify whatever you want
  • Make a flashable system.img with: "./mkuserimg.sh -s /system ./system.img ext4 ./temp 1024M"

Norway firmware, possibily the fastest firmware out there?

Norway firmware requires a extra file if you want to keep your settings after flashing!

Please download the file under if u want so!:

userdata.bin

EDIT to Yakandu: Maybe u should add url to the original firmware threads so people can read about every single one?

Anyone can mirror ROOT [FIRMWARE][6.0.A.3.73] Central Europe 1 Generic on a good server like mediafire cause depositfile is very very slow for me ~10 ko/s

I'll download all these files and host them on my fileserver, no need for box or mediafire stuff imho :)

I'll let you know when it's done you can use one link in stead of well all these ;)

Some download links are very very slow, so it will take a while others will go faster, i rename them and zip them with 7zip to save some bandwidth :) ill post the correct url here when done :)

Oh btw, i'm not gonna download all the system.img, it takes me ages to make a proper folder structure for that, so if you need something uploaded let me know :) i'll do the stock roms first.
