sirkay, just to be curious..if we wanted to get ASOP camera recording working.. im guessing thats alot of work?

and Wifi tethering? any chance both modules can be copied from sony's source?

I get thats everything is alot of work, im just curious^^

for camera, the driver is there. need to make the apps work with driver. you may refer to JJ

for tethering, its related to softap. you can try to check softap in stock i guess.

if you want to test, remove set on boot your cpuControl apps and reboot. if the default gov is not intellidemand, maybe i did it wrong

since i cant set gorvernor with third party app, im using semc.rc to load choosen gorvernor, and im just use third party app to check if the gorvernor is loaded or not, and semc 6.1.1 not load intellindemand, its load the default gorvernor aka ondemand.

its not big deal .. its just default settings. or you can try change it by add init.d script
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
echo 'intellidemand' > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor

it works for me but sry for my ignorance - what's different? brightness?

probably save battery when enter recovery coz brightness and max cpu freq reduced.

and hope others that found difficult to flash my kernel will solved their prob with this version by justmpm.

if its worked, then will be settings for next version.

The RER version was made to save the battery when doing stuff with Recovery. As Sirkay mentioned the only changes are max cpu freq and screen brightness -while in Recovery. When I benchmark the RER versions they typically reduce the battery drain by 50%...but they are a little bit slower, around 10%....so if it normally takes 10 minutes to perform a back up and flash a new ROM it will now take 11 minutes. For some reason xray-v6.1.1RER seems to boot up more easily than xray-v6.1.1 with conventional recovery....and I have no idea why this would be. Now that the RER version is made and tested, I wonder how useful they will really be, because most people don't spend a lot of time in Recovery...and typically when you are having problems and doing a lot of work in Recovery, the phone is also spending a lot of time tethered to a PC and getting charged anyway....

EDIT: If someone can test the RER version with out flashing XRAYsetup.zip that would be great...on my phone, I don't need the XRAYsetup with xray-v6.1.1RER.

    First Thing First: How To Install Custom Kernel
    1) You need to UNLOCK BOOTLOADER using one of these method. I'm NOT responsible of what you've decide. Please follow instruction carefully.
    -> S1tool
    -> Sony Mobile - Unlock Bootloader
    2) Get this awesome tool called Flashtool and install. Dont forget to install usb drivers from "Drivers" folder too.
    3) I assume you have download one of my kernel. Get into Fastboot mode. How? Do i have to repeat how? Press "Volume Up" while connecting your USB cable. you'll see Blue led.
    4) Click "Flash" button on Flashtool, then select Fastboot Mode.
    5) Choose "Select Kernel to Flash" and find your saved kernel. I'm not gonna find it for you.
    6) Once completed, reboot device into system
