I'm having trouble with getting back into CWM after running this. I was able to get into CWM the first time to flash the SuperSu.zip file. After I rebooted and unpluged my phone from the computer, I tried to get back into recovery. All I get is a dead android guy with a ! above him.

If you can’t get into recovery, try re-flashing recovery then go straight into recovery. What happens is that stock Android OS has a security measure that overwrites your custom recovery upon reboot. If this happens to you, simply re-flash recovery and boot into recovery right away without reboot.

Worked great on my GSM Galaxy Nexus.

I initially tried the windows toolkit, but I could never get the drivers to install on my aging Vista machine. I'd much rather have something working for my Mac. And having it in script form is, I have to say, a big plus, because it's easy to see what's going on, tweak it, whatever (not that I had to).

Thank you very much for this, techfanatic9!

If my bootloader is already un-locked will this Root GSM/Verizon/Sprint just install SU, CWM and root without wiping?

If I wanted to flash the newest version of CWM, is it as easy as replacing the .img from your install folder with the newest CWM version?

If I wanted to modify this for the Nexus 7, would I just have to get the right CWM recovery and update the script to use it? I don't know anything about fastboot, but would the same fastboot work?

Thanks!

Awesome tool kit mtp is rendered useless however. Everything works fine except I'm.not able to transfer files after I root or unroot. Any suggestions or help this is annoying. I searched also btw and even returning to stock did nothing
