new to HTC/android - where to start?

This is my first HTC android-based device. Is there a good thread/posting/FAQ for getting caught up on the various terms/procedures with HTC devices? For example: "ruu", "mid", "s-on", etc.

(I've been doing too many samsung/LG/google android devices - I haven't touched HTC since the Pocket PC / Windows Mobile / Windows CE days)

I appreciate that. Actually, I had already found the s-on/s-off thing (from elsewhere), but was using that as an example. (However, as I mentioned, I still appreciate the response.)

Basically, I need something to get myself kick-started working with the HTC specific aspects of android -- and was hoping that someone knew of a general document floating around that would cover most of the basis.

Just learn fastboot and adb commands and you are good.
