Hello,
sorry for disturbing, can you send me build.prop file for T2 Ultra Dual Sim?
I changed my file to swap internal/external storage, and i don't have backup.
I prepared a script to delete old build.prop file and copy new one through update.zip (CWM is working and i can install ZIP Files)
I just need a working build.prop.

I got it to work, just put permissions to 644:
set_perm 0 0 0644 /system/build.prop

did you rooted using unlock bootloader mathod
if yes then can you confirm after unlocking be does bravia eng. works ?
also is there anything changes after unlocking boot loader
In fact i didn't try it yet, i'm working hard on swapping internal and external Storage cause 8GB (4GB remaining) is aweful.
after that i will check all functions and compare speed (internal storage vs external Class 10)

about bravia engine, I don't care about it as much as i care for storage, and i didn't notice any difference. you'll only feel the difference if you keep comparing...
for me, i rooted, and I linked high storage stuff to SD Card, such as whatsapp media, games folders, movie downloader, calls recorder, and Download folder (using paid folder mount), now my internal storage is intact around (3.5 to 3.7 GB).
Songs and Camera can be set on SD Card without the Folder Mount app.
about the 1GB RAM it's not an issue, on KitKat 1GB will be more than enough.
if you have storage shortage or you need root apps to run on your phone just root it

Sounds great, but what about TA backup.. Did you skip it??
TA back up is not possible without root
and as we have to unlock bootloader to root ta back is currently not possible
at least untill or unless we get some script which can root phone without unlocking bootloader.
i suggest people not to unlock bootloader and wait for upated rooting kit from doomlord

There is no exploit that currently works... I know of a dev who is working on exploit but it will be released only in August... You can wait till then if you want...

Correct, i thought i missed something i kept looking but i was stuck in a circle, i need to backup my TA before rooting, and i need root to backup my TA
yes i skipped TA Backup, all i lost is BE for pictures, for videos they say it works the same. but i believe it will be back for us in future updates as they enabled Track Id and BE for movies, there's no reason to keep BE for Pictures locked. even if not enabled in future updates i can live without it...

Am going to have to read up on sony phones so that I don't brick it. Just wondering if the exploit will happen sooner. If I have to wait till august.... guess I can save enough for the Z ultra

P.S: I know that some people think that its no big deal to have recovery/root on unlocked bootloader, and I do agree with that upto certain extent... but now that you have recovery/root you can do a LOT more... just unlocking bootloader wont give you anything!!! devs need to lay the foundations for further development... i have seen so many devices with unlockable bootloader and without root/recovery, but no one bothered to create recovery/root for those users...

[ how to flash this kernel ] (via fastboot)
- download the kernel image
- save the boot.img to the folder containing fastboot binary
- flash the boot.img using fastboot:
Code:fastboot flash boot boot.img - reboot from fastboot
Code:fastboot reboot - the device should now start booting

[ proof ]
[ how to root ]
- once you have flashed the kernel from the 1st post
- download the latest SuperSU update.zip from: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
- save it on sdcard of device
- reboot into recovery
- flash the supersu update.zip
- reboot from recovery into OS
- you should now get proper root access!
[ installing busybox ]
- it is highly recommended to install busybox after rooting!
- just go to andorid play store and download the busybox installer.
- once the installer is downloaded, install busybox in /system/xbin
- reboot device after install and thats it!

Requirements:

2. X-plore or any other file manager with root access
Procedure:
1. Extract and replace all 4 files in root/system/etc/snd_soc_msm
2. Change the permissions to rw-r--r--
3. Restart your mobile
Note:
I won't be responsible if anything goes wrong, kindly take a backup of all 4 files from the snd_soc_msm folder before proceeding in case you want to revert back to the original volume.

I couldn't boot up the phone, so i decided to borrow my wife's phone and download the Firmware via SEUS;
And i managed to create the FTF bundle using Flashtool.
Here is the file if anyone needed it incase they softbricked their T2 Ultra Single Sim like me
This file is only applicable for Global LTE version 19.0.1.A.0.207 for Model D5303 (Single Sim variant).
