[APP][VGA][01.DEC.09]Manila 2.5.192X VGA Port (only for cooks)

Hello, I'm using the newest package from Kisja, but after I add some favourites(actually, first two) the People tab displays like that(weird white boxes instead of normal boxes)... Any solutions?

I am personaly decompile it using LuaTools by Co0kieMonster http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=568281 and fix the error manually. And for changing variable value (if there only some value need to edit) I am prefer to change the original file use the hex editor

It will run (if you update all the HTC packages with the LEO's one) but you will have scroll issues in some of the new HTC Apps (Device Info, geolocation service, ...)

Isn't better to put the necessary WVGA packages already in VGA packages ?
Noobs won't know how to put it together!

Mode9 & graphic I'm use the same tool with you everthing OK, but for LUA file have some trouble with LUADEC.

It was useful for open development and easy to track the changes. It's not too difficult to include it in kitchen, there will be tutorial about how to cook this manila, f.a.q, dependencies list & what is what and for what is it needed

, But It's so difficult to track and join the development if we blank about what others contributor do and what should I do with this thousands files???

I'm on a roll today...I just posted this to the wrong thread...

I just updated a bunch of packages to the newer versions from the Leo 1.43 ROM (as recommended in the third post). I was using the versions provided in the .zip file from amarullz in the other thread. Looks like it's working a lot smoother now (I was missing some things), but I'm seeing the issue in the attached screenshot. That's the only screen I've seen missing buttons on so far.

Can anyone give me a hint what I may have wrong? I can provide a list of what packages I changed, but I'd rather not go through them one at a time if someone has already seen this

It also looks like I somehow wiped out the location list in weather's "Add Location" window...

Looks like your using WVGA packages....you need some VGA versions.

You need a new HTCGeoService... Here is HTCGeoService from my kitchen...

Doh! I missed the 3 lines near the bottom of the XML. Thank you.

Could you also post your xml from HTCBookmark...I think that one needs to be corrected too.

Edit: Also, does anyone else have an empty location list for Weather? I only use My Location, so I'm not sure if this is a new issue in my kitchen...

I use Luadec to get some information about the code, but I do not recompile. I use only a HexEditor to modify the file. For mode9 I use m9editor and HexEditor.

Does anyone have the WVGA 1920 files posted anywhere? I managed to corrupt the copy I had and I can't do a fresh dump at the moment.

Edit: Found them here for anyone that might be looking.

Updated packages from 1920 are:
- Manila_Core_1921_VGA
- Manila_Calendar_1921_VGA
- Manila_Twitter_1921_VGA
- Manila_Music_1921_VGA ( still 1920 base, but run smoothly )
- Other packages no need any change ( but also included in download )

Yes, We wait kisja to update the home tabs

My The How to FIX My HTCMessaging_Client

My Install HTCMessaging_Client 1_2_19203731_00 But could not be opened
