cm6 audio and camera fix

For audio, there is problem in audiopara.csv of etc folder of cm6.
it contains htc stuff, so have to fix it.
I have also seen other phone's cm, they don't contain this file.
Morover it is in update script, so it is important.

For camera, I am wrkg on it. Still nt getting sd card. Once I got it, I can fix it soon. For now, I am getting 'Cannot connect to camera' with new background(maybe froyo).

sd stopped????

if prob exists of sd den
put this line in your system/ etc/
vold.fstab file
dev_ mount sdcard /sdcard auto /
devices/ platform/msm _sdcc.1 /
mmc_ host
and den try to flash.....

1. wipe all things
2. flash cm6(don 't reboot after flashing)
3. now restore only data from any old nandroid of eclair(android 2.1)
4. reboot
5. go to filemanager
6. open system<apps
7. install all appz which r not instaled
8. wen al appz installed open setting
9. go 2 network and wireless.........
10. open mobile network
11. click search network
12. wait fr scanning
13 after scanning complete wait fr
while
14 if network did nt come search
again... ..

Nly the network bar turns up.. nt receiving any calls .. just like wt i saw n froyo.. receiving msg but no notification on notification bar...

Friend I don't think that n/w will work fully on cm6 bcoz no baseband registration is happening.
But in froyo baseband is getting registered so fixing might be easier but we r waiting for sam from 5 days to start debugging once again.

There r sum bugs remaining.
Will solve them by tomorrow.

anyone try this for a70 froyo port ...

IN BUILD.PROP

debug.sf.hw=1
dalvik.vm.heapsize=32m
dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:jit

replace this lines with

debug.sf.hw=0
dalvik.vm.heapsize=24m

and remove the line
dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:jit

after making this changes see if the force closes are fixed ..

1 wipe everything
2flash rom
3' wipe everything
4 reboot

There is an apk file in the n720 rom.. which is nt in anyother rom.. shall v remove it and flash..? The file name is defaultcontainerservice.apk in app folder..

Yes they are working fine.. they even detect the ph as micromax... but v don't hv froyo so no use..:(

    This is alpha froyo port for Micromax A60 by me.
    It is tested and boots up. but we get force close on framework-res.apk rapidly so UI not there only force closes.

    Instructions to flash
    1.place the zip in sd card and flash

    This is alpha release and does not works fully.
    i hold no respnsibility if u screw up ur phone. This port is still under process and to keep A60 users informed i have made this thread.
    Flash the zip at your own risk.
    I will keep this thread updated. If anyone finds a solution post it here also i m working on it.

    Things work:
    1.Touch
    2.Sound
    3.now UI corrected
    4.Native move to sd card feature of froyo
    5.Sensors

    Things don't work
    1.All networks (wifi,blutooth,GSM,3G)(under process now)
    2.USB debugging,ADB,Mount sd card(In short USB doesn't get detected by A60)
    3.Camera

    Issues:
    Force close appears after boot anim
    force close says "Activity Android system is not responding"

    thanks finally we have logcat of froyo and now we can fix it

    @all a60 users or rom developers

    here is my method to get logcat

    open terminal app in froyo port after flashing it
    and type the below cmds in it

    bugreport > sdcard/bugreport.txt

    after this cmd your phone will vibrate three times after the third time look in the sdcard there will be a file called bugreport.txt
    which has the logcat and some more info about kernel

    i have seen the logcat and the force close is by the libs DALVIK AND BINDER SERVICE NOT FRAMEWORK
