Unable to change Bluetooth visibilty

Hi all,
On HTC one M8, (French SFR version, same as Vodaphone) I am unable to turn off the visibility. In BT parameter, nothing append when I tap the phone icon and nothing in the 3 dots menu. Does anyone experience the same trouble ?

In essence this is a new "feature" HTC introduced for non-technical users. I tried it out myself.

The bluetooth visibility on an HTC One M8 works as follows. If you got your bluetooth activated AND you are in the Bluetooth settings screen the HTC One M8 ist visible for ohter devices. If you close this screen it is invisible to other devices.
