Functioning smooth like silk on Captivate with a simple kernel and modem change
Modem and kernel listed in my sig.
Glitch is v.14 b6 from Captivate development
Modem is tljl3 (but KG3, UCKH3 also work well)
Before flashing I added
1) a modded sysctl for better battery life,
2) gps.conf file for US servers,
3) inverted apps
Just flashed in vortex animation, OC to 110% with 1200 freq, this is stable combination and flat out flies!
Uploading a new link for Captivate , when I put a new link, you just need to install a rom, and enjoy

This is originally an I9000 ROM. updater-script needs some lines deleted, build.prop needs editing for SGH-I897. I know ph.miki has got it under control. He has provided a stable and beautiful ROM. Been using for nearly a week without FC or SOD. It is up there with the best!! My only issue was need to correct the APN so I could send MMS. It works so well for me I hesitate to flash away.
ph.miki - let me know if you want me to post systcl or gps.conf. My GPS now locks hard and fast.

Can you do a stpe by step of flashing odin process?

How did you do that?... is pre-configured on the rom?

Are u coming from STOCK rom?
AGAIN
-Install STOCK 2.3.6 rom
-Root u-or rom with CF-ROOT kernel
-Copy EXTRAordinary rom 4.0.4 to SDCARD
-Enter to recovery and wipe data factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe davlick
-From recovery mode, instal rom EXTRAordinary rom 4.0.4 from SDCARD
-And enjoy!!!

-wipe data factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe davlick
-From recovery mode, instal rom EXTRAordinary rom 4.0.4 from SDCARD

If u are from SLIM ICS, just copy my rom on SDCARD, wipe data factory reset, wipe cache, wipe davlick cache, and install my rom.
No need to bact on stock rom!!

1) replace modem.bin on Rom.zip with Captivate 850mhz default modem (sample attached)
2) use Cappy ICS kernel (your choice Master!)--> Replace boot.img on Rom.zip and delete modules folder (\system\lib\modules\) on Rom.zip and replace with extracted kernel one. Cappy versions of Devil and Glitch work great on this ROM
3) delete keylayout folder (\system\usr\keylayout) on Rom.zip and replace with attached.
Now should flash like any ICS ROM, no worries. This is a really great ROM, should be tried by any ICS fan at least once. After using your ROM, going back to GB would be like the stone age.
