USB :
Usb harddisk does not work properly, only if you switch to lockscreen and back the usb is recognized and than it ask you what to do.
By connecting only USB to PC nothing happens, only if you touch the power - button for lockscreen and back.
At the moment this is in all ICS sense 4.0a roms , exept Fallout 1.3.0 , in fallout this works fully correct.

Primo-S v4.0 with
dual mount from market (for usb mounting"
camera.apk from Fallout 1.3 update
With this
camera works including picture during video. no lock ups or fc with video or flash
bt works both media and headset/handsfree
I haven't yet tried the wifi tether fix but i never use that, i will give it a try though
obviously no eqs on 4.0 either
every other ROM either has no bt audio in calls or camera locks up when taking picture while video. I think every ROM now has the flash and end video fcs sorted

Hi people. I first owned HTC Desire and rooted and flashed a lot on it. (Means I know the stuff)
Today I tried to root my cousin's DS. I've tried everything, literally everything, to root the phone. Unrevoked doesn't support. Tried my very best to unlock bootloader via HTC DEV. But couldn't do it after even 3,4 hours.
Could anyone please just give me a SIMPLE guide to root this.
I've searched a lot. Exploits, cracks, HTC DEV, zips, unlock root etc... All failed.
(Phone says LOCKED but S-off in bootloader)
Running 2.3.5 sense 3.0.
I wanted to flash this ROM. Any help would be highly appreciated.

If your phone is already S-Off, all you need to do is to flash a custom recovery (CWM or 4EXT) and then flash a custom ROM. Ignore the *Locked* if it says S-Off
I installed 4EXT recovery but it says BusyBox not found. I downloaded BUSYBOX INSTALLER from market. It said YOUER DEVICE IS ROOTED but It doesn't installs busybox.
How to install recovery now. Downloaded the ROM already
has anyone else had any issues with my usb mounting fix ?it works but some1 pm me saying it broke wifi ? any1 else got this issue ?
your zip is flashing a bcm module, which may not match the kernel everyone is using
IF USING MY WIFI FIX UNZIP AND DELETE THE MODULES FOLDER AND FLASH THAT WILL FIX USB MOUNTING. I FORGOT TO DELETE IT MYSELF THANX
my fix has been confirmed working but u must delete the folder before flashing thanks

Ok guys,
I haven't had much time, some of you might have noticed. But I didn't resist trying this out, so, here's my small contribution, mostly directed at proxuser:
Wifi fix for proxuser, "regular" users do not try this stuff:
- modified ramdisk image to use pre-ics wpa_supplicant (I attach a modified quattro kernel ready to use): View attachment kernel-onev.zip
- Copy /system/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf from Endy to your rom
- Copy /system/bin/wpa_supplicant from Endy to your rom
- Change build.prop entries "wlan0" to "eth0", because this is the interface the quattro kernel sets up
This will get you wifi working, I have it now in front of me. A few quircks though:
- Does not measure incoming RSSI. meaning the wifi indicator will show always empty (like when the "connected to null" thing happens in sense 3.5
- Gave me a hard time connecting the first time, but seems stable now. But I haven't tried it for that long.
