Right let me clear this up once and for all.
You are asking a question on how to install the ROM. That in itself is cringe worthy as you install it just as you install any other custom ROM and if you don't know how to install any other custom ROM then you need to read the guides and tutorials.
If you still have questions after that then you should ask in the Q&A and Troubleshooting forum for your device, located here
. If you read the first post of this thread then you will know that this thread is for DEVELOPMENT RELATED MATTERS only. ALL other NON-DEVELOPMENT POSTS, such as QUESTIONS or GENERAL DISCUSSION should go in the Omni General thread located here
Errrm no... just no, firstly how the hell can you have a discussion on how to install a ROM? The steps are the same for every ROM out there. Secondly, no, discussing the correct way to install a ROM is NOT by any stretch of the imagination a major contributor to development forums.
Your point that getting the correct installation steps for a ROM is development related is completely invalid as frankly a monkey could work out how to flash a ROM if they had a custom recovery on a phone.
The things that constitute development matters are; bug reports, patch submissions, high level technical discussion (notice: High level, not low level "dis is how u flash dis kewl rom" type posts). Other posts, such as bug reports without much information or without logcats (such as "gah, my wifi iz broke, fix NAOOOOOOO!!!!!"), questions, general discussion etc should go in the general thread.
As for the "why don't you clean out every other thread" point, this is simple. To a large extent the OP of the thread controls the flow of the thread, some don't mind off-topic and questions being posted, others prefer their threads to be focused on development of their projects, usually with a separate general thread (as is the case with this one). We moderate the threads according to the OP's wishes.
Despite what you seem to think, we do have standard treatment for threads, its called asking or inferring what types of posts the OP will or wont allow in the thread then adjusting how we moderate said thread accordingly.
The last thing to mention is that you really need to work out how the quote BBCode tags work - makes it easier to see what you are trying to quote and what is the actual post content.
Now, this development thread has been derailed enough. If you want to continue this discussion then please PM me, do not continue to spam a development thread with this matter, I will be cleaning it shortly.
Back on topic please everyone.
Edit: Thread cleaned
