I’m traveling to Saint Martin in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge/suggestions for mobile services there. Ideally, I would like to grab a pre-paid 3G SIM card with a couple of gigs of data that would work all over the island. It appears that Orange Mobile will only work on the French side, and Chippie maxes out at GPRS/EDGE. I can’t find much out about the plans for Digicel or TelCel.
In case you were curious, I have an unlocked Sprint HTC One M8 that can connect to the following GSM frequencies:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA up to 14.4 Mbps
