Thanks for all your help bud. By all means get some shut-eye. I'm trying a few other ROMs right now. If you know where I could download that that would be fantastic!
I got it! CleanRomXE 2.0 worked like a charm. All Google services and everything seems to be working fine
. My original reason for flashing a new rom was to tryout KitKat, but maybe I'll just wait for the official update . Thank you so much for all your help!

Do you know how to flash recovery when ADB doesn't see the device? But the computer installed a bunch of USB drives when I plug in the phone.

can't ADB to phone
I've installed the driver, but from computer: "ADB devices"
"List of devices attached" still shows nothing
boot certification verify
Secure booting error
Cause: boot certification verify
Then computer popped up 15 drive letters and all of them wanting to be formatted to use except one L drive which had "image" folder inside contains adsp.b01 to b12 and .mdt files and a bunch of other mdl files and the b01 to whatever. What do I do now? Is the phone really gone?

install these drivers (different lg device but allows support for g2) when installed, plug phone in and go to sideload, on pc go to device manager find the phone, right click, update drivers, browse computer, let me pick from a list, you may have to unclick show compatible, find google in the list then the most recent dated adb interface driver11
you aren't bricked. some computers are better than others at recognizing your device in adb. I found that my hp laptop with windows 7 will not recognize my device when I am in twrp. but my wife's acer with windows 7 does. you have two ways to get a stock rom back onto your device. one is twrp sideload and the other is adb push.11Alright, I'll try helping you tomorrow, I got 2 hours of sleep last night. For now I'd recommend rooted stock
