[Q] Virgin Mobile Australia Data Issues

Gday all,
Its been going on for a while and i finally have the time to raise the issue, i brought my S3 from Malaysia last year September time and came back to put in my virgin mobile sim in, it is unlocked etc and rooted it flashing Omega Rom and trying out many others, even before flashing the rom i have had the issue that my data would be extremely slow especially the Facebook app and loading my feed is really slow, as well as my overall data connection speeds. i am situated on the northern suburbs in Melbourne around Epping Area, but i regularly travel to the city so data at home isnt an issue, just when im in the city and etc. FYI, i have tried many modems / basebands and i either lack strong reception or data doesnt work due to slow speeds.

Much help would be appreciated.
