Oh man I feel terrible asking this because I feel like I ought to be able to font it but I'm no good at reading Gerrit. What is the key change between this jb-mr1 build 3 and the AOKP 20130209 nightly Whitehawkx released a few days back?

Samsung SGH-T989
CM 10.1 Experimental Preview 2
T989 UVLI4

I don't think you'll see many performance changes imo, but there are a few things here and there. There is the ability to access device options for capacitive lights and make the nav bar disappear may be a few other features.

Still no 4.2 (10.1) launcher :( cm has it why this one not? It running smooth now after settling in compared to the last builds :) I'm using cerux btw. Great work!

thanks. im not too sure if i want to stray from cm10.1 then. its set up all well and dont want to go through resetting it all.

Yeah I hatee having to set everything back up after a new flash but totally worth it esp since I effed up cm10.1 build I was wrong by flashing too many add ons ha so I was due for a fresh wipe anyways

I'll answer this once since I'm a nice guy. Any repeats please direct to this post. ^^

Since the Feb 9 nightly... let's see if I can remember everything...

~kernel updates from CM
~changed EXTERNAL sdcard location from ExtSD to external_sd (like it use to be!)
~Lots of new additions like...
-Device Options
-dual panel
-menu overflow toggle (3 dots)
~increased themeability of statusbar (for theme engine themes)
~updated radio and audio proprietary files to LI4

That's all I can remember off the top. Feel free to crawl through gerrit for more info - http://gerrit.sudoservers.com/

Do we have that multi user support? I looked for it and couldn't find it so I'm guessing that's a no but I wanted to try it out and make my friends jealous if I did have it

I have the 4.2.1 stock launcher along with Nova. If you're thinking of Trebuchet that's a CM thing.

BTW great work, so far haven't noticed any major bugs. Thanks WH.

I know its a cm thing but thought AOKP also used it because in my opininon its way better than plain. Can you scroll your dock or change the name of apps (maybe animations)? I thought that it was just stock 4.2?

I don't think AOKP has ever used Trebuchet at least as far as I've been using it. The stock launcher has no extra features. Trebuchet is a stock look with extras. You could always extract Trebuchet from CM10.1 zip or a backup, but I don't think you'll have the changeability of the launcher in system settings like CM. I think that's why they include Nova too if you want to customize your launcher.

That's true I tried already and you can access trebuchet settings by pressing the menu key on home but it fc s with allot of things but at least animations works :) and don't like nova so I guess I'll stick with this.

Tons of launchers to try. I like holo launcher but I used to pimp out apex all the time. Nova was never a favorite for me.

I'm gonna do a new nightly for you guys today. Dirk fixed an EPIC memory leak we had on our lockscreen. Roman has also completely revamped the toggles to support tiles AND traditional (like they use to be). Will probably be ~2 hours cause I'm gonna build it from clobber and my comp sucks :p

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

Seems last night there was a little ranting and arguing going on about how this thread is never read by Whitehawkx. Wonder why? It is probably because of the same reason why they (AOKP) took most of their support to Rootz. The sense of entitlement was one cause for sure. But the other reasons are for all the BS that happens in these threads. The OT, Questions that belong in Q&A, no logcats, no "real" information (just, "My phone won't boot. Fix it"),...

I've known Whitehawkx and Roman since the Vibrant days and when they pulled up stakes last year, it was a huge blow for all. Who do you think Roman was representing last summer at the Big Android BBQ, besides AOKP? I'll give you a hint, it starts with Rootz and ends with Wiki.

If you want to keep seeing this happen to XDA, then keep it up. Seems that a few of you have some bones with each other. Best thing to do for that is use the Ignore function. Don't want to do that, then just don't respond to them.

There is a Dev thread in the TMo SGS3 section that gets locked daily by the RD because of all the BS that happens. As soon as I clean it, he locks it. Now how can you get any real development with that going on? Not saying that whitehawkx will do that, but if he logs in and sees this crap, he might pull all his works.

Sorry for the rant, but I had to read all yours, now you have to read mine.

    Thread Cleaned
